Last week the first ISIN-to-LEI Relationship File was published by GLEIF. The file contains mappings of 11 national numbering agencies (NNA), which is only 10% of the NNA (116) population. However, with over 3 millions ISINs the volume is big enough to perform an indepth analysis between this file and the ISIN-LEI information within FIRDS. This are the first results:
• 80,5% of the Relationship File is also covered in FIRDS
• 99,4% match of mappings covered in both sources
But still there are around 16,000 differences in mappings. We will further check these inconsistencies and share our findings with GLEIF and ESMA.
